What to Expect
Game you could see whilst staying at Elephant Point include; Impala, Zebra, Blue wildebeest (Gnu), Warthog, Tree Squirrel, Bushbuck, Steenbuck, Baboon, Vervet Monkey, Kudu, Hippopotamus, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino.
In addition, South Africa hosts about one tenth of the world’s bird species. The country’s national parks offer excellent venues to view these birds. There are parks located in all corners of the country, in a variety of habitats. Each park has its own unique Avi-spectrum. Elephant Point is no different. Rare sightings at Elephant Point include Pel’s Fishing Owl, Ground Hornbill and Martial Eagle.
