Luiana Plains Expedition Camp is located in the wetlands of the Cuando River within the Angolan part of the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area. Activities include game drives, night drives, guided nature walks and boat cruises to explore the region.
Designed to have a light environmental footprint, the camp comprises 10 tented suites and two guide suites – all with en-suite bathrooms. The main area includes a lounge, dining space and bar. It is expected to officially open in early 2027.
Access is via an informal border located near Kongola and about 140km from Katima Mulilo in the Namibian Zambezi Region, 250km from Kasane and 340km from Victoria Falls. From the border to the camp, guests will travel on a two-hour, pre-arranged 4×4 road transfer.
