Overview

The luxury tented camp is the sister property of the established and world-renowned, Molori Safari in Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa. Molori Mashuma offers an extension of the Molori safari experience – only wilder and more adventurous in an unfenced setting 40 minutes’ inland from the Zambezi River. Mashuma Pan is located close to the four pools that make up Mana Pools as well as the Zambezi river. This allows guests to experience four completely different wildlife experiences – at the pan, the pools, along the river, and in the wilderness, woodlands and plains.

Accommodation

The camp has six luxury tented suites, each thoughtfully positioned along the banks of Mashuma Pan. Guests can expect oversized, air-conditioned tents. The accommodation is made up of two, two bedroomed villa-style tented suites with private plunge pools and four premier tented suites that sleep two. The camp has a large open deck with a swimming pool, a bar, three lounge areas and various eating areas – all overlooking the pan. The camp’s bold, contemporary design blends seamlessly with its pristine surroundings, providing an unparalleled safari experience in one of Africa’s most spectacular ecosystems – an ultimate bucket-list destination.

Activities

Guests can set out on twice-daily game drives to explore the park’s extraordinary wildlife, from elephants wandering the floodplains to lions resting in the shade of a baobab. For those with a passion for photography, specialised photographic safaris offer the chance to capture these moments with expert guidance. But it is on foot that Mana Pools truly comes alive – renowned for its unforgettable walking safaris, where close encounters with elephants and other wildlife create rare and deeply moving experiences.
