With just six luxury tents and an exclusive family safari house, the lodge remains intimate and private. It is located in the Namwala Game Management Area on a remote and breathtaking stretch of the Kafue River, approximately 400 km north of the iconic Victoria Falls. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining, private decks with sweeping river views, and outstanding cuisine—all carefully balanced to offer both comfort and a true sense of wilderness.

Standard Tented Chalets
Set on raised wooden decks overlooking the Kafue River, the six Meru-style tents are designed for comfort and immersion in nature. Each features an en-suite bathroom, indoor shower, and outdoor shower, while thatched roofing provides natural cooling and enhances the lodge’s organic aesthetic. The honeymoon tent includes an additional outdoor bath for a more indulgent experience.
Safari House
Ideal for families or small groups, the Finfoot Safari House offers two bedrooms (one queen and one twin), each with its own en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower. A central living area opens onto a private deck with uninterrupted river views, creating a relaxed and spacious setting for shared moments in the wilderness.
Positioned just across the river from Kafue National Park—a short 10-minute boat transfer away—KaingU provides access to exceptional wildlife viewing in a pristine, uncrowded environment. Game drives in open vehicles offer close encounters with the park’s diverse wildlife.
The Kafue River itself opens up a variety of immersive experiences, from tranquil boat cruises and canoeing safaris to fishing, birding, and guided river trails.
