What to Expect
Somewhere between a hotel and a lodge, this 38-room establishment offers mid-range travellers affordability and close proximity to Chobe National Park. An extensive range of activities are available – from game drives and boat rides to day trips to Victoria Falls and traditional village tours. Spacious lounge, pool and dining room areas cater for larger numbers of guests. Enjoy buffet breakfasts and a large a la carte menu for lunches and dinners; restaurants and bars in Kasane and at the neighbouring Chobe Safari Lodge allow ample choice for dining and evening entertainment. Although less personalised, this experience promises a social atmosphere and an abundance of wildlife.
Activities are not included and must be arranged through the activities office at the neighbouring sister operation, Chobe Safari Lodge.
Highlights
Each Luxury Room is tastefully decorated and includes double or twin beds draped with mosquito netting, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a sitting area, a writing desk, air-conditioning, a television, and an in-room safe. Ground-floor rooms include verandas with bush views, while the upper-level rooms offer balconies with spectacular views of the Chobe floodplains.
Two of the four Luxury Family Rooms feature two separate bedrooms with twin and double beds and two en-suite bathrooms. The other two rooms consist of one spacious bedroom with a double bed, a sleeper couch, and one en-suite bathroom.
Activities are not included and must be arranged through the activities office at the neighbouring sister operation, Chobe Safari Lodge. Staff are friendly and helpful in organising your itinerary, they will pair you with a guide who conducts very professional game drives within the park, boat cruises, fishing trips, village tours or day trips to Victoria Falls. Activities may also be arranged with a host of other tour operators in Kasane, just a short walk from the lodge.
