Standard B&B Rooms
Our Bed and Breakfast Rooms are nestled amongst palm trees and lavender shrubs and each room has a private veranda with lovely views of the gardens. The rooms are individually decorated and styled and offer comfort and space. Our B&B rooms are situated near the dining area and swimming pool and have private undercover parking.
Family Unit
This Family Suite is ideal for smaller groups of 4 or 5 people with 2 separate bedrooms and a cosy lounge area with sleeper couch. There is a semi self-catering kitchenette with mini bar fridge and microwave. Enjoy the lovely private patio and trees, a stone-throw away from the swimming pool area.
Deluxe Self-Catering Unit
The Deluxe Self-Catering Unit is our newest accommodation addition and a fantastic option for groups of friends and families travelling together. With a full self-catering kitchen and BBQ facilities on private verandah, this suite can accommodate 6 people and has a lovely homely atmosphere. There are 2 very spacious en-suite bedrooms one of which forms part of the open-plan lounge area with TV.
Self-Catering Unit
Decorated in cosy colours and overlooking the lemon orchards and mountains, this open plan unit caters for all! This unit sleeps 2 people with sleeper couch for children. With a fully equipped kitchenette, separate bathroom with shower, as well as undercover BBQ area – makes this unit the perfect self-catering getaway!
Self-Catering Thatched Roof Unit
Our thatched roof self-catering cottage is comfortable and private with beautiful views of the mountain and citrus orchards from your patio! Listen to the birds or wonder around the indigenous garden, while preparing dinner over a relaxing fire. This unit has 2 separate bedrooms with open plan living area and a separate bathroom (shower only). The kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave and a conventional oven, as well as all the other necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This unit sleeps 4 people.
Semi Self-Catering Garden Cottage
The Garden Cottage is our newly renovated self-catering unit, stylishly decorated in shades of blue and silver. This open-plan unit accommodates 2 people. It features a fully equipped kitchenette, a separate bathroom with a shower, and an undercover BBQ area, making it the ideal choice for a self-catering getaway. Additionally, this unit can also be booked with a bed and breakfast option. It offers views of the garden and the dam area.
The tour departs daily from De Old Drift Guest House and is exclusively offered to our guests. Our open safari vehicle can accommodate up to 9 people, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Due to its popularity, we cannot guarantee availability without a reservation.
Our focus during the tour is on the Addo elephants, as the park was established in 1931 to save them from extinction. We are dedicated to finding as many elephants as possible during the excursion. Along the way, we’ll also search for other fascinating wildlife and provide insights into the local vegetation. Rest assured, our guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable, ensuring an informative and enjoyable experience for all.
