Modern amenities blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, featuring air conditioning, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, international dial telephone, fitted adapters, minibar, hairdryer, and electronic safe. The en-suite bathroom boasts both a bath and shower, with an outdoor shower for a refreshing touch. Your private deck offers a heated plunge pool and pergola-covered lounging area. An indoor fireplace adds to the charm, while a cozy lounge promises relaxation. This lodge epitomizes luxury, meticulously designed for an unforgettable retreat amidst nature’s splendor.
At Shamwari Private Game Reserve, our 5-star luxury accommodation is just the beginning. Join us for thrilling wildlife encounters on our morning and afternoon game drives when animals are most active. Our comfortable, open vehicles offer panoramic views of the reserve, guided by knowledgeable rangers. Bring your binoculars, cameras, and essentials like warm clothing, sunscreen, and a hat. Game drives last around three to four hours and include coffee in the morning and a sunset stop. Unfortunately, children under 4 can’t join.
In addition to spectacular game drives, Shamwari Game Reserve also offers professionally guided walking tours. Here, you can gain a true perspective of the flora and fauna indigenous to the region. Your guide can point out animal tracks, dung, hiding spots, rare birds and educate you on the area and its history.
Unfortunately, no children under the age of 16 or adults over the age of 65 (unless provided with a doctor’s certificate of fitness) are permitted on these walks.
