What to Expect
As part of the greater Kruger National Park, which covers an area of 2.2 million hectares, this Timbavati safari lodge is a wildlife haven boasting a diversity of animal life including the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo). With 100 km² of bush to traverse, you have plenty of space to explore the endless variety of Africa’s wildlife in an open Land Rover or on foot.
Kings Camp is a 9 suite (20 bedded) lodge that faces an open savanna plain with an active waterhole.
Waterbuck at Kings Camp is a Private Camp offering the ultimate in safari privacy. The camp boasts a 4-bedroomed villa with its own landrover, game-ranger and tracker, as well a villa attendant and personal chef to take care of your every need!
This completely private camp is situated on a dry river bank, with great views affording excellent game viewing opportunities.

Luxury Suite
Seven generously spacious luxurious Suites equipped with air-conditioning, indoor and outdoor double shower, fully stocked mini-bar and private verandah and splash pool. Dark tones of wood and thatch offset the natural colours of the bushveld. For your comfort and convenience, other room amenities include robes, mosquito repellent, an umbrella and hairdryer. Your suite is also equipped with its own safe and telephone.
Honeymoon Suite
Two exquisite opulent Honeymoon Suites are luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, indoo and outdoor shower and fully stocked mini-bar. Each suite has a private verandah with large plunge pool overlooking the African bush. The suites are decorated in dark tones of wood and thatch offsetting the natural colours of the bushveld. For your comfort and convenience, other room amenities include robes, mosquito repellent, an umbrella and hairdryer. Waterbuck Private Villa
The ultimate in safari privacy, Waterbuck at Kings Camp boasts a 4-bedroomed villa with its own landrover and game-ranger, as well as a personal butler and chef to take care of your every need! This completely private camp is situated on the banks of the dry Nhlaralumi river, with great views of the bush affording excellent game viewing opportunities.
Early morning and late afternoon game drives offer you the chance to spot the big 5.
