Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), where you’ll be met and transferred to Karen Gables—a tranquil, elegant spot to unwind after your flight.
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your scenic charter flight to Olare Orok Airstrip. From there, a short road transfer brings you to the renowned Mahali Mzuri safari camp, set in the heart of the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Once settled, you’ll begin your wildlife adventure with an afternoon game drive or simply soak in camp life and stunning views.
Spend five incredible nights at Mahali Mzuri and enjoy morning and afternoon safari drives in the private conservancy—renowned for its abundant wildlife, dramatic landscapes, and exclusivity. Guided walks, sundowners, and even spa treatments are on offer. There’s time to relax at camp, lounge by the pool, or enjoy bush dining under the stars.
After a last breakfast in the bush, you’ll transfer back to Olare Orok Airstrip and take a charter flight to Wilson Airport. From there, continue by charter flight direct to magical Lamu Old Town on the Indian Ocean coast—a complete change of scenery and pace.
Best Time to Visit
The most rewarding months for this itinerary are June to October and January to March, coinciding with the dry season. Game viewing in Olare Motorogi is at its peak, especially during the Great Migration (July–October), while Lamu boasts long, sunny days and warm waters—perfect for exploring the beaches and historic town.
